Appearing at the Simi Valley Cajun & Blues Music Festival: Flattop Tom & His Jump Cats

On Memorial Day Weekend 2014, the Simi Valley Cajun & Blues Music Festival will be hosting Flattop Tom & His Jump Cats on the Blues stage. The Festival is an annual event that will be seeing its 25th anniversary this year.

Along with the music, the Festival features plenty of crafts and food. Visitors can enjoy food ranging from standard hot dogs all the way to Cajun-Creole food like jambalaya. Craft vendors will have clothing, purses, pottery, homemade salsas, and even toys.

About Flattop Tom & His Jump Cats

This band plays jump blues, boogie-woogie, classic big band swing, rockabilly and similar styles. It has released four CDs, which have received critical acclaim. Flattop Tom is a swing dancer who focuses on keeping his music at the right tempo for others to dance to. The band performs regularly for swing societies such as John and Sylvia in Santa Barbara, the Pasadena Ballroom Dance Association, and more.
