Cajun & Blues Festival Performers to Be Named Soon

Mark Memorial Day weekend 2014 on your calendars now so that you don’t miss the 25th Simi Valley Cajun & Blues Music Festival.

Headline performers for three separate stages at this 25th anniversary festival will be announced shortly.  Headliners include Grammy-winning performers as well as popular new bands.  Cajun-Zydeco and Blues performers are featured on two stages, and a separate Kids Stage highlights popular younger performers.  A talent show even puts some local youngsters on the stage.

This festival, a totally volunteer event sponsored by the Simi Valley Rotary Club, has become the largest festival of its kind west of the Mississippi.  More than $1.5 million has been donated to local, national and international causes over its history.

In addition to the foot-stompin’, hand-clappin’ music and the soulful sounds of the blues, there is Cajun and Creole food, a Mardi Gras parade, a kids’ area with active and specialty attractions, crafts vendors and dance instruction.

Scheduled for May 24 and 25, the 2014 event with its Cajun performers and delectable food is guaranteed to set your soul singing, and send your spirits soaring.  Keep abreast of all the latest announcements by visiting our website.
