Help Us Give Back

Learn how the Cajun & Blues Music Festival is all about giving back.

While you might know the California Simi Valley Cajun & Blues Music Festival as a celebration of Creole music, cuisine, and culture, did you know that this festival is also dedicated to giving back and serving the larger community?  Hosted by The Rotary Club of Simi Sunrise, the Cajun & Blues Music Festival benefits both those of Cajun descent and the local community as well.  In fact, all proceeds from the event go towards supporting a wide range of local, national, and even international charities and organizations.

From its humble beginnings as a New England Clambake fundraiser, the Cajun & Blues Music festival has grown over the last 28 years to become one of the largest festivals of it’s kind west of the Mississippi River.  Now, the festival draws over 150 food, beverage, craft, and sponsor booths and about 20,000 attendees.  All proceeds earned from the festival go straight towards supporting charitable, educational, and humanitarian causes.

Thanks to the generous support of corporate partners, sponsors, and the community, we are proud to say that the profits from The Simi Valley Cajun & Blues Music Festival have generated charitable donations in excess of $1,600,00.  Please visit out “WHO BENEFITS” page to learn more about some of the fantastic charities and organizations that we support.
