Performing at the Simi Valley Cajun & Blues Music Festival: Andy Walo

Andy Walo will be performing on the Blues stage at the Simi Valley Cajun & Blues Music Festival, taking place on Memorial Day Weekend 2014. Andy grew up listening to music ranging from Louis Armstrong and Benny Goodman all the way to The Who, Motown artists, and The Beatles. Once old enough to play music himself, he settled on Blues and mastered its art. Later, he moved to Chicago and established himself in the city’s Blues scene.

About the Simi Valley Cajun & Blues Music Festival

The Festival is hosted by the Rotary Club of Simi Sunrise and benefits both Cajun heritage and residents of the Simi Valley area. It started out as a humble New England Clambake fundraiser for the Club, but within two years, adopted the Cajun and Creole music theme. This is the 25th year that the Rotary Club has sponsored this festival. 15,000 people are expected to attend this year’s event.
