Simi Valley Cajun & Blues Music Festival: The Best Cajun and Zydeco Music West of the Mississippi

What began as a one day fundraising event has turned into a two-day festival capturing the hearts of attendees and vendors alike. The Simi Valley Cajun & Blues Music Festival, sponsored by the Simi Valley Rotary Club, is held on Memorial Weekend and is one of the largest and most respected Cajun-Zydeco Festivals in the US.

This family friendly festival is evolving, growing and expanding yearly and now features live music on two full stages, one featuring the blues, and the other featuring the greatest assembly of Cajun and Zydeco performers ever assembled to appear on one stage west of the Mississippi.

Each year, the festival features great music provided by new and seasoned performers alike. The 25th annual festival to be held on Memorial Weekend 2014 will be no different. Feufollet, an Americana/Cajun band from Lafayette, LA, will be featured on the Cajun-Zydeco stage. You don’t want to miss this group who has received a Grammy nomination for Best Zydeco or Cajun Music Album for their 2010 album, En Couleurs. Feufollet was also given the Big Easy Award of “Best Cajun Band.”

Come enjoy the music, food, vendors and fun at the 25th Annual Simi Valley Cajun & Blues Music Festival to be held on Memorial Weekend 2014. All proceeds go to various senior citizen, youth, community and international charities and organizations.
