Jo-El is a master-class accordion player and has played on the world’s best stages. In addition to his virtuous accordion playing, he is also talented at the bass, harmonica, drums, and guitar. He has had the honor of having his songs recorded by artists like Johnny Cash, George Strait, Emmy Lou Harris, John Anderson, and Jerry Lee Lewis.

In October 2009, Jo-El was inducted into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame. In 2011, he released his 30th album titled, Where’s That Music Comin’ From? All those who are close to him know that his music is derived from his heart, and nowhere else.
