Robby Krieger Will Perform at the Cajun & Blues Music Festival

The Doors are one of rock ‘n’ roll’s biggest names, made famous by their cut-throat lyrics and the harmony provided by each instrument.

Robby Krieger, born January 8, 1946, in Los Angeles, California is a professional musical performer and is the guitarist from the Doors. He is now celebrating 50 years of their great music and going around California performing some of the best that the Doors have to offer.

Robby is a huge blues fan as you can tell by his riffs, solos, and chord progressions. Although, he didn’t pick up the guitar until he was already seventeen, and it was his friend’s guitar at that. He did not purchase his own guitar until he was eighteen; it was a Mexican Flamenco guitar. “Records got me into the blues. Some of the newer rock ‘n’ roll, such as the Paul Butterfield Blues Band. If it hadn’t been for Butterfield going electric, I probably wouldn’t have gone rock ‘n’ roll”

We hope you are able to check out the great Robby Krieger play some songs by the legendary band, the Doors. For tickets and showtimes to this gig, click here!
